Gordon Keller is a senior scientist at the Ontario Cancer Institute. His research interests are in lineage specific differentiation of embryonic stem (ES) cells in culture, development of the hematopoietic, vascular, and cardiac lineages from ES cells, commitment of ES cells to endoderm-derived lineages, and the growth and differentiation of human embryonic stem cells.

Dr. Jeanne Loring is founding director of the Center for Regenerative Medicine at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California.She has a B.S. in Molecular Biology and a Ph.D. in Developmental Neurobiology. She was on the faculty of the University of California at Davis, and has held research and management positions at many biotechnology companies. She served as Director of the Human Stem Cell Resource, the NIH Human Embryonic Stem Cell Training Course and Co-Director of the institute's NIH Exploratory Center for Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research.

Peter Zandstra is a Professor at the Institute for Biomaterials & Biomedical Engineering and Canada Research Chair in Stem Cell Bioengineering. His research focuses on understanding how complex communication networks between stem cells and their progeny influence differentiation and is designing bioreactors specifically capable of controlling cell fate.
